Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy
1. Introduction
GreenPow recognizes and adheres to global and local frameworks concerning domain name disputes. As a domain registrar and hosting provider, we implement domain name dispute resolution procedures in alignment with both:
- The Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) issued by ICANN, and
- The Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy for Costa Rica issued by NIC.CR.
This policy clarifies our role and responsibilities in accordance with those frameworks.
2. Scope of Application
This policy applies to:
- All domain names registered through GreenPow under top-level domains (TLDs) subject to ICANN or NIC.CR oversight, including but not limited to
.com
,.org
,.cr
, etc.; - Any user, registrant, or third party involved in a domain dispute concerning a name registered via GreenPow;
- All registrants who accept our Terms of Service.
3. Governing Frameworks
GreenPow follows procedures and regulations provided by:

In other cases, GreenPow adheres to the ICANN UDRP or applicable local law.
4. GreenPow’s Role
GreenPow acts as a neutral, technical intermediary. We do not:
- Resolve or adjudicate domain disputes;
- Interfere in proceedings handled by accredited dispute resolution providers;
- Transfer, block, or suspend domains unless ordered by an authorized authority.
5. Required Cooperation
By registering a domain through GreenPow, all parties agree to:
- Cooperate in good faith with ICANN, NIC.CR, or approved dispute resolution providers;
- Comply with final decisions, including transfer, cancellation, or suspension of domains.
6. Dispute Initiation Process
To initiate a dispute:
- File a formal complaint directly with the appropriate dispute resolution provider;
- Notify GreenPow by email once proceedings begin, including:
- Case number;
- Contact details of adjudicating authority;
- Timeline or status updates if available.
7. Legal Jurisdiction and Compliance
GreenPow complies with all binding rulings issued under ICANN or NIC.CR frameworks, including mandatory domain transfers, cancellations, or suspensions.
GreenPow is not responsible for legal costs, damages, or outcomes from external arbitration or dispute resolution bodies.

9. Final Notes
This Domain Dispute Policy is part of all GreenPow domain registration agreements. It supplements but does not override ICANN and NIC.CR policies.
For domains outside ICANN or NIC.CR oversight, GreenPow defers to relevant registry policies or local legislation.
10. Disclaimer
GreenPow does not mediate or influence domain dispute outcomes. We only facilitate compliance with rulings from authorized resolution bodies. Users are responsible for understanding and initiating appropriate procedures.
